The execution model comes first
Omni uses request-for-quote execution. That makes the quote offered for your actual order more relevant than the appearance of a standalone order book. Our preference is for evaluating that proposition alongside order-book alternatives, rather than assuming that venue-wide open interest determines the best fill.
The liquidity proposition
Variational says it aggregates liquidity from centralized exchanges, decentralized exchanges and OTC dealers. That is a reason to investigate its quotes for size. It is a provider claim, not evidence that Omni always has the tightest price or can fill every requested notional.
Fees and breadth
Omni publishes zero opening and closing trading fees. Variational also advertises more than 500 derivatives markets spanning crypto, equities, commodities and indices. These are derivatives exposures, not ownership of the underlying shares or commodities; availability and limits should be checked in the app.

What would make this the right trade for you?
Check the executable quote for your market and full size, compare it with an alternative at the same time, then include the fees and any relevant funding. Check position limits and liquidation terms. Zero explicit fees do not remove spread or price risk.
How we present our preference
The homepage feature is an editorial selection. The comparison table remains sortable by observable metrics and is not modified to make Omni win. We have not independently benchmarked fills across venues, and we do not claim personal execution results. Affiliate links, when configured, are labelled.
